Douglas Danielson --- the Writer
 Doug Danielson has been writing articles for West Coast magazines since 1997.
His mystery and horror short stories have been published by Orchard Press Mysteries, Cenotaph, Futures Mystery Anthology Magazine and Lighthouse Media.
He is presently busy writing a mystery/adventure series about Jake Mortensen, a young San Diego yacht captain who can't seem to stay away from trouble and beautiful women. His first in the series, SHORE LOSER, was published in August 2007 and was re-released by Oak Tree Press in February 2012. The second in the series, SEA-DUCTION, was released by Oak Tree Press in February 2013. Both are available at independent bookstores or through retailers on the internet.
 Doug is a member of the Short Mystery Fiction Society.
Doug has been a contributing writer to Dockside and Santana Magazines, two monthly boating publications in California, and he is a recognized authority on boating in Southern California, Mexico and Central America.
He is presently researching and writing a boating guide for Central America entitled Rediscovering the Once Forgotten Middle to be published in the fall of 2012.
His mystery and horror short stories have appeared on the internet and in anthologies in the United States and Britain.
